spend the rest of the money on SHELVING, at Home Depot so that way I don't spend it on something silly and useless like beer, which only lasts for a little while. Shelving will be happy for a much longer while.

I've recently discovered I have a World Market fetish, so I'm waiting till Friday to go back with my 10% off coupon to get the papasan chair. I'm on this redecorating my bedroom kick.

Recently picked up a green bamboo rug with a Greek key and orchid pattern in red and gold that really tied in the rest of the room. Adding the shelving over the door, at the cost of going beerless for the week really is a no brainer. If anyone wants to contribute some nicely embossed framed maps on parchment to go with the look for being so very good... naw I kid, I kid. But seriously.

Once I get the next couple little elements put together I'm going to be dying to shoot in my room, because it's going to be a design dream. If you treat red like a more dynamic brown, all sorts of possibilities arise!

I'm also going to go get these acrylic talons I had put on for the last shoot filed down. I am losing my mind trying to get anything done with them, pretty as they may be. Putting butt creme on the baby means having to go get the nail brush and scrub out the insides of them. Typing... ACK. As someone who is used to typing at about the same speed that I think at, all this backspacing and missing letters is killing me.

The talons have to go. Or at the very least be taken back to a sane length. Guitar? Out of the question. Heck, even opening the car door is difficult. I slipped (because I'm grabbing with primarily claw at this point) and the handle dropped back down and the claws got caught under it. I stood there next to the car jumping and swearing for a couple minutes.

They only come about a quarter inch past my fingertips, but not being a fingernails chick, this is driving me batshit nuts.

The pictures when they come back will be soooo worth it though! I can't wait. We did some remakes of some pin-up illustrations, as well as re-shot with the blue garter belt set that is up on gallery right now, only this time not preggo, and added some thigh high nylons to it.

Overall the shoot was a blast, although it amazed me how fast we went through about 4 looks even with having to adjust lighting, change clothes and do a couple quick hair touch ups.

Roo conked out, so we didn't get to get her set in, which really bums me out because I had been saving the concept for this shoot, but :sigh: there's always another day. Still she's getting bigger fast enough that I'm just going to use it the next time I shoot because otherwise she won't be small enough to do it!
